PENTAVAC PFS

Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (Whole Cell), Hepatitis B (rDNA) and Haemophilus influenzae Type b Conjugate Vaccine (Adsorbed) I.P.

Pentavac PFS is a pentavalent vaccine, meaning it protects against five diseases: Diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatitis B, Pertussis (whooping cough), and Tetanus. It is administered as an injection, typically in the thigh muscle for infants and the upper arm for older children. The vaccine is given in a series of doses, usually starting at 6 weeks of age, with subsequent doses at 10 and 14 weeks, and a booster at 18 months.
